I'm with you on "significant hope". Just pointing out that it's way too


early to compare this year's line to last years.

I saw a lot that made me question Johnson but two really stood out to me.

1. Plugging Roundtree in to replace Bjorklund. You didn't have to be an NFL scout to see that he was slow and lost. If he really was a better option than getting an underclassman some experience then we might actually be in trouble this year. If you get to that point in the season, after spring and fall camp and that's the best understanding of the system by a back up then things actually do look a little dire.

2. Wesley's public statement halfway through the season that his biggest frustration was guys making the same mistakes in games that they made in the spring. That doesn't inspire confidence from a teaching standpoint.

Many others, but those two really stood out.

I am hopeful, but this is the one area I'm also the most skeptical about. Look, I'm always positive and always hopeful but I also try to be always objective.
