You got timeline correct... Jr yr GG got better OL play & improved himself
... and the entire O overcame their Learning Curves in switching from SF's Pro-O, to JM's Pro-O.
That's the triple whammy the Rams needed to Improve & do very well in '13.
Will Rams gain a similar Triple Whammy to lead them into mucho Improvemento in '19 ??? Lets think about this for a moment..... I think so:
#1) Sticking w/ OL... While we don't have Burg, Sambo, Gragert as well-known OL kids in 2019... our OL will certainly Improve significantly from 2018, if for no other reason than the Learning Curves being conquered. But also because these young guys are quicker, stronger & better athletes than Knox/Rountree/Meeks/Bjorkland. And the JC's who are joining us are also superior Athletes to the departing '18 Starters -- not just Storement, but also Noel (kids a full-blown monster of an OL).
Also, keep in mind that Berry Wesley was in Friend's bone-pile of non-Scholly walk-ons. DJ spotted him & developed him into a 3 position Starter, Leader & Fundamentally sound OL player. If DJ can spot & develop Wesley into such a fine player, who else might he develop in '19?
#2) CH is fully healthy, quick, stronger & smarter than ever in his use of the Bobo O system. Nuff said.
#3) our WR's & TE's are the deepest in years... w/ outstanding PROVEN quality among Starters & #2's & even #3's.
#4) Rams OC & HC, Bobo is back and almost fully recovered & healthy. His absence was huge during the most critical part of "training his Coaches" during those 11 Days pre UHa & UCB.
#5) Rams D will most certainly be Improved vs 2018... the only issue is whether the Improvement is slight - significant - massive.
That's a Quint Whammy for our O in 2019. I am really stoked !!! (did I mention that?)
