And CU has been mediocre to poor, but the do beat us mostly. The state of
Front range football and ESPN focus on the FEW would seem to explain lack of interest by top 10 overall talent with staying in state. ND, NE, Stanford, WI, MI, ASU, all out recruiting CSU and CU combined. CSU has lots of CO walk-ons and PFOs, but CO has 10 to 12 worthy and ready players each year (plus the overlooks WY finds), at least 2/3 should be at CSU and CU and would make a good nucleus for both squads to build around.
I know they do look at locals, but we need a system to engage early.
