I don’t think CSU owns the property to the south.

CSU owns sporadic land near and to the south of the Hilton (green house, vet facility, tennis courts, etc). I do not believe they own the land that was recently cleared directly to the south of the stadium, however. That land will most likely become more student housing as seen on Lake Street.

For whatever reason, CSU has not gone after a few obvious land grabs near campus. The university somehow passed up on the open lot right next to the Summit Hall parking lot and the whole business complex on west Pitkin recently went up for sale. Both of these spaces are right next to one another and would seem like an obvious move for the university.. These are the things I don’t understand.
