Funny thing is, I was about to post something along the same lines

I don't buy the equal pay argument as it has been discussed. I do believe that there is a business model for women's soccer that could be put together to reward them based upon growth incentives. Similar to a way a start-up organization rewards employees not just with salary but stock options. The women's soccer market is a higher growth market than the men's market. It would be unique to allow athletes to share in the growth of their sport immediately rather than build something for others to benefit down the road.

I am also surprised that no shoe company has explored the opportunity to truly develop a world class soccer shoe designed specifically for women with footwear contracts that offer more to the athletes that endorse them.
