Just in case you wondered..The Mendoza line is hitting your weight.


People often confuse this. Mendoza was a player that couldn't hit his weight, or however the story goes. You will constantly see/hear stories about the Mendoza line. Like it's some fixed number. It's very similar to the strike zone conversations. Everyone wants the tv box to be the strike zone, but by rule, it varies from batter to batter. Knees to armpits... Not all people are the same, and every strike zone changes with each batter..so does the Mendoza line.
