Re: Hmmm that argument didn’t fly, hey look shiny object over here

Not looking at shiny objects...

First... I hope CH does well and turns us around wiht a winning season... but if CH does poorly and we don't see any changes or other players getting a shot to rise... even if it requires simplifying the playbook so that we can move the football... then we are in a world of hurt moving forward.

But there are a couple of things you have to ask:
1. Can CH turn his game around? So far his best and only win is against UNC Greeley. that is not a squirrel tactic... it is fact. In the first year it was his youth... last year you could say it was his knee causing him to go all of those 3 and outs when put in the game. (I didn't think he should have come back and played last year and it showed with all of the throws that were off) Will he be able to sustain drives this upcoming year will be the question...

2. Is Bobo willing to give someone deep in the lineup a shot even if CH and POB does poorly? I don't think we will ever see a McCoy play... and I think Erickson is wasting his talent at CSU and should be playing elsewhere... but he and his family are Ram fans from my understanding. So I can relate to Erickson staying at CSU even as a walk on. McCoy is young enough he could transfer out and play elsewhere if he feels he will never have a shot. That leaves us with issues down the road.

3. Going back to your squirrel comment... POB has great mechanical skills and legs. So we cannot underestimate what his potential on the field would be? What I can ask is this... BVP did not have the best throwing mechanics... would he have played being a second string under Bobo? He turned out to be one of the best or most notable QB's in Ram history... but even Sonny started DJ Bush over BVP but Sonny was smart enough to realize that you have to give a winner a shot even if they don't have everything down yet.

I am not arguing against Hill's mechanics or his ability to know the playbook... but if he doesn't find a way to win and Bobo doesn't change then we will see who our next coach will be in 2020.
