I won't predict how long a downturn will last

But I'm starting to see signs in the overall economy of a slowdown from my perspective.

1. Restaurants/bars have started closing in bunches - says to me we're hitting the end of the business cycle. Businesses that were hanging on by a thread are starting to not be able to sustain themselves

2. Housing market in DC has started to cool down a little

3. I've heard of companies in the tech sector starting to slow down hiring a little

We'll see, have no idea when, if, or how long a recession might be, but I think there are starting to be signs of one coming.
