Wonder if he runs track? 10.7 100 & 21.8 200m will get him to UW (Huskies)


Serious question about track and DMIII. Speed does get attention and is a good reason to run track.

My friend's kid, 5'10 165, was only being looked at by Idaho last year as a walk-on until he decided to run track as a senior - only year to run track. Winning state in 2A 100 & 200m got attention of Coach Peterson who provided a PWO. So far no out of pocket (I don't understand how this works exactly), and he will see the field next year.

So if guys like guys like the Wa kid are good enough for UW why not CSU? In fairness you can see that a lot of programs overlook some hidden gems.
