The unforeseeable hit to CH's knee woulda injured ACL of any QB...

it had little to do w/ it being CH or what you call his glass knee. Just thought I'd put this ugly truth out there. So lay off the "glass knee" theory. Plenty of NFL players have had long ans successful careers after 3 ACL surgeries to the same knee (with some decent luck).

It was a very hi-velocity helmet-to-knee shot, & totally unpredictable shot to the outside of any QB's left knee.... at just the right time that the QB had planted his left foot and was about to throw a pass. No HC is responsible for this type of crazy shot. CH's knee will be repaired and by the time Fall 2020 begins, and will hopefully (and most likely) be as strong as his original left knee. Nobody knows the regime of working out to recover from this surgery like CH. Nobody knows the care that is required to get it back to 100%, like CH.

The grand opportunity exists for CH to reduce his number of snaps throughout 2020, by allowing POB to take some % of snaps (whether as starter or backup)... thus allowing CH to continue his healing process w/o as many opportunities for another freak-hit directly to his left knee. CH could then likely get a 6th yr Med RS (based on '19) to be able to play in 2021, and his knee be stronger than ever.
