March 17-19, 2003. This was a big one: 31.8 inches of wet, heavy snow fell

My family and in-laws were up at Aspen then and drove back on the 19th to find our driveway impassable. We trudged into the house over the driveway, got into the garage and my father in law, two oldest sons and I got the show shovels out and started in. Took us over an hour to dig a path so we could unload the Jeep. Then we shoveled just enough to get the vehicle into the driveway which pretty much did us in but my in-laws were scheduled to fly back to Chicago the next day and to assure we could get them there we continued to help shovel out our cul-de-sac. Finally when we were almost done near sunset a plow came by and plowed a berm blocking the exit from our cul-de-sac and we took another hour into the dark clearing that. That was the worst I remember here.
