this exact issue the last couple weeks.

In a lot of ways per the IRS and federal labor, they fall into a contractor.. but you're right about the core business, one of the IRS factors is degree of business integration (see link, exhibit 2) the drivers significantly affect the success of the business.

It was last weekend when I was researching this issue and I now remember coming across a settlement with Uber and/or Lyft, drivers unfortunately only got a few thousand.

GL to you if you're one of tens of millions hoping for that $600 week extension and COBRA benefits.
