Got it. Tyson was married to my 2nd cousin

I didn't ever meet him. Scotty Elarton was at my 50th birthday party held in a friend's machine shed north of Lamar. We roasted a pig and drank a bunch of beer. A poker game broke out in the back of the shed. I think Scotty was taking everyone's money. This was October after his great Houston season. His dad and I played football together and won a state championship in 61.
