Not sure how to phrase this

but you do realize one person's desire not to social distance, not to wear a mask, etc. means they have a much greater chance to spread the virus to their family, friends, etc. who did not choose to be flippant. One person's choice to live their life how they please now affects the rest of society. That is the very nature of a pandemic. How are people still struggling to understand this?

It is the one thing that has been so sad about these past few months - the compete lack of consideration for others. And the lack of consideration for the places of business that are struggling. The businesses are trying to keep their customers safe and stay financially afloat. But there is, invariably a meat head guy, who comes in and determines he is not worried about the virus - despite everyone else in the store/restaurant who is. Yet the rights of the one meat head - his rights to be a fat, hairy jerk with an ignorant opinion about the virus, somehow always outweigh the good of society.
