So what you are saying is that the school board did not take into account

science when making their decision.

Schools have been closed since March. there is only limited data from the spread of the disease with school kids and it states that those under 10 are less likely to be spreaders and less likely to have adverse effects from the virus. That is it. But if you read the fine print you will see that there is still uncertainty.

But again... you are taking into account the kids only. Are you taking into account the teachers and helpers? You say that parents of elementary school kids are less susceptible... could you please submit the link that states that the parents of jimmy and susie are less likely to be susceptible to the virus... what about kids who have older parents or live with grandparents. What about jimmy's dad who has diabetes at 25... or some other variance. Don't forget that public schools is just that... public.

No... I saw what he said... he is pissed off that the school took a middle ground approach and not what he believes. And I see what you are trying to say... anyone who takes this virus seriously (the school district) is paranoid.

In reality... overall the factors with the virus and schools are unknown. the school district made a choice that they feel will work for the masses. Like I stated early... they are damned if they do and damned if they don't.... but at least they tried to find a middle ground that would be safer for all parties.
