I'm not arguing mistakes. That's obvious. But look at your "solutions" as


poorly defined as the original bill. Get Democrats and Republicans going on what a COVID Manhattan Project is or what constitutes hardship and you've solved nothing.

The PPP loan saved my company and now we're working on a merger. Don't fall into the 2009 stimulus trap and look at the head scratching elements. Overall, the direct payments and PPP loans have been successful. If you want to see more people flouting the advisories, take the help away.

Rhetorically you give the ground to the Republicans with that crap. Nearly 50% of Americans don't have $1,000 in savings before the pandemic....they won't want to hear your fiscal discipline crap when we felt good enough to give a $1.5 trillion tax-cut.

I'd rather see a Civilian Conservation Corps and other New Deal era efforts as oppossed to direct payments.
