and did put it on the fast track. Not just Trump, but some foreign leaders as well. Fast-tracking it isn't done for political purposes. Taking credit for it is.

This is unprecedented when it comes to vaccine development. It is a bit of a gamble, but so far so good. IF (and I do realize how big an IF that is) the trend continues we should be able to start vaccinating front line workers, nursing home residents, high-risk individuals, etc. in about 10-12 weeks. What we won't know for many months is how long the protection from the vaccine will last.

Personally, if one gets approved I'll take it. If it's only good for 6 months, oh well. We'll have a better one by then if that's the case.
