This is different than putting 30k on a credit card.


It's a loan on an insurance policy. WJ may feel that not playing will cost his draft status, thereby costing him big $. So, he can chose to play, increase his status and, in turn, $. When he is drafted and signs his first contract he pays off the loan. If he's hurt, he uses the proceeds to pay off the loan.

With this loan availability, his decision should be based on what will / can happen to his draft status if he plays or doesn't play. I know my opinion, but my opinion doesn't matter, only his. Best of luck Warren.
