He epitomizes everything wrong with the coaching profession.


Continues to fail upward, into more money, thanks to the good ole boy network that persists in the profession. Meanwhile good young coaches, many of them minorities, are not provided good opportunties to succeed. Upward mobility for them is usually to places like Buffalo or UTEP.

This phenomena exists in all professions, but college football coaching has to be the worst. It's awful.
