Agree. Frankly I'd rather the coaching staff use the unexpected bye week to


1. Practice punt and kick blocking every day for about 6 hours
2. Study the fair-catch rule for KO's and think about teaching it to the returners
3. Work on the players improving their understanding of the defensive scheme, i.e. how to cover ALL pass-catchers on any given play
4. Work on DBs learn to turn and look for the ball. I know, it hasn't happened in many years so they probably aren't going to turn the corner in one extra week but it can't hurt
5. Improve run-blocking
6. Learn the names of RBs other than McElroy and pass-catchers other than Wright & McBride
