The presidential pardon power is really broad and badly in need of reform.


The question of whether Tweeto von Cheeto can pardon himself or not has never been answered because no other president has ever stooped to that level of shameless douchebaggery. Can he issue a blanket pardon covering any of his corrupt minions from federal prosecution before they're even charged with a crime? Theoretically, yes, he can.

His pardons won't cover any state prosecutions, and that's where Trumpty Dumpty is gonna be screwed.
