If we play, I don't expect a win
Our OL is our achilles heel so far IMO - call it a work in progress. SDSU has excellent Dline play so I anticipate we won't have much of a running game against the spaz so it's a pure air attack, and then they blitz from all angles and that won't be pretty for us unless we can get a couple of big plays from the 1 on 1 matchups (McBride & Wright).
Having 3 weeks off does not help with OL cohesion or growth, only delays it. (3 would help heal some injuries but I'm not aware of any health issues from football dings/injuries.)
I'm hoping for a win but expecting a loss, similar to how I felt us going into the Boise game. Without the blocked kicks, it would have been a closer game but they are still a little better than us so this wasn't the year to beat them. I feel similar to playing on the road against SDSU on Saturday. At least it isn't a true home field advantage for SDSU playing a 2 hour drive from San Diego.
