At least they should be. And playing college football is a big committment to a lot of hard work.

Most guys that have redshirted will move on, especially if they are not playing a lot. The guys that have not taken a redshirt year and that are playing are more likely to stay for a fifth. Those that are NFL prospects and ready will definitely move on, even if they've only been around 3 or 4 years.

Like you said it will work itself naturally. Especially at places that have recently experienced a change in leadership, like CSU.
