Good Shep mentioned a few weeks ago that the MWC regular season champ has never not been invited to the NCAA tournament. So, although it doesn't give a team the auto-bid, it would be unprecedented to have CSU win the regular season title and not get an at-large bid. Of course, 2020-2021 are unprecedented times, so anything could happen.
