I think Dubya is right (for once in his miserable life)

If you want to talk about the what, it's pretty easy to have a discussion without getting too political. If you want to talk about the why, then it starts getting political pretty quickly.

There are a lot of nonsensical statements being made. Blaming the grid issues on renewables, for instance is a pretty stupid one. In Texas, renewables make up about 10% of total power output. You're telling me that the Texas energy grid was consuming over 90% of total capacity and the loss of 10% of output led to almost a total failure? If that's true, then the problem again wasn't renewables, it's that the system didn't have enough capacity to begin with.

The problem wasn't a capacity problem. The problem was a transmission problem. Renewables don't even factor in. If the grid had been maintained to properly, this would have never happened.
