I think Howell
Will be the breakout player. Between him coming in for the Spring, lack of depth at the Safety position, the need to get someone ready when Stewart is gone next year, and the legacy his family brings I see him as a guy that will make a significant impact on STs this year like Jake Schlager did his Freshman year especially since there is a lot of room for improvement in ST coverage, but also he will be a backup that slowly builds his way into the starting lineup or at least gets significant reps, like Blackburn did last season.
As a vet, Centeio is going to get every opportunity to be the man at QB so my hope is that he is the breakout guy because that will mean a very good season for our team, but I'm in the same boat as Tweeter in that I want to see what happens at RB to see if Vivens, Herndon, or some other guy takes the bull by the horns and becomes a dominant RB that teams have to account for. At minimum we need Centeio to be dominant as a runner and passer or our running game to be dominant between TC & a running back or two. Not being very good at anything will make for a rough year and really waste the talent we have on defense, TE, and Wright.
