A lot of bubble teams are losing, which could help CSU

MWC - Utah St getting swept by Boise puts them in a tough spot to get an at-large. They’ll likely need to get to the finals in the MWC tournament to have any chance.

The Atlantic 10 is struggling - VCU had a Quad 3 loss on their home court today, which puts their at-large hopes in question. St Louis had a big loss as well yesterday. St Bon is already on the bubble and Richmond is on the outside looking in. The MWC is looking a lot stronger in comparison.

Big East - UConn, Seton Hall, and St John’s all lost today. UConn lost to Villanova, and although the loss doesn’t hurt them much it still means they have work to do. Seton Hall lost to a bad Georgetown team. St John’s lost on their home floor to a really bad DePaul team.

Pac12 - Stanford lost to WSU, likely pushing them on the wrong side of the bubble.

SEC - Ole Miss lost at home to Miss St. Bad loss for a team trying to stay in the bubble conversation.

Big Ten - Indiana with a bad loss at home to a mediocre Michigan St team. Minnesota has recently found themselves on the bubble with some recent losses, and a 30-pt home loss to Illinois didn’t help matters.

Still a lot of games and movement to come, but the door is open for a team like CSU to better secure an at-large bid. The issue is it’s hard to build on a resume when you aren’t playing for 3 weeks.
