Pretty good day for CSU on the bubble

Lots of bubble-ish teams lost today. Among them (NET rankings are entering today)...

St. John's (68 NET) just had an absolutely terrible loss at home to a DePaul (178 NET) team that entered 3-10 and 1-10 in the Big East. That should just about end St. John's at-large chances (barring winning out and winning a few conference tourney games or something, but even still- this is an awful loss).

Seton Hall (45 NET, the spot ahead of us) lost at Georgetown (107 NET), and is now 13-9 (10-6 Big East).

Minnesota (57 NET) was annihilated 94-63 at home to Illinois. Minnesota is now 13-10 (6-10 Big Ten).

Indiana (42 NET) lost at home to Michigan State (90 NET) and is now 12-10 (7-8 Big Ten).

UConn (52 NET) lost at home to Villanova and is now 10-6 (7-6 Big East).

Stanford (51 NET) lost at Washington State (100 NET) in 3OT (they had a 3-point lead in the final seconds of regulation, missed 2 free throws, and WSU nailed a 3). I had this game on at first, and honestly turned it off right before those free throws lol. They're now 14-9 (10-7 Pac-12).

Ole Miss (55 NET) lost at Miss St (93 NET), and is now 12-9 (7-7 SEC).

VCU (31 NET) lost at home to George Mason (154 NET). And they still play two bubble teams in Saint Louis (who dropped from 32 to 47 in the NET after getting crushed by Dayton yesterday), so at least *somebody* will keep losing in those games.

As for big wins for bubble teams, the ACC had a few.

Duke (60 NET and likely getting a bump for reputation in the end) beat Virginia (9 NET) by 1. Duke is now 10-8 (8-6 ACC).

Syracuse (50 NET) was down a crap ton to Notre Dame (64 NET) and made a crazy comeback. Syracuse improves to 13-6 (7-5 ACC). At least it likely kills Notre Dame's chances (9-11, 6-8 ACC).

And North Carolina (53 NET) destroyed Louisville (32 NET) 99-54. Like Duke, UNC (14-7, 8-5 ACC) will surely get a reputation/TV ratings bump if things are pretty equal to teams like CSU.

Duke, UNC, and Syracuse still all play each other, so -- like I said with VCU's situation -- somebody has to lose, at least.

And as for teams we've played, Santa Clara (167) got a win over Pepperdine (110 NET) after a horrible loss to San Diego in the previous game. They have to go to Gonzaga next lol.
