Utah State and Boise State also got to play New Mexico twice, though.

Those are two games that CSU and SDSU didn't get.

There's just not going to be a situation that doesn't come with an asterisk or "yeah, but..." for any team that wins the conference in this weirdo season. It's annoying and lame, but the winner shouldn't be apologizing to anybody.

Boise could've won a game at Nevada. Utah State could've swept UNLV or won a game at Boise. San Diego State could've won a game at Utah State or not blown a 26-point lead at home to CSU. Etc etc.
