UCLA was 13-6 in the PAC 12. What I have always focused on were the teams
from the Power 5 conferences that were either below, or right at 0.500 in their conference games, and make the tournament. Every year there are at least 4-5 teams that fit that category, and every year it pisses me off. You can't tell me that teams that can't win half of their conference games need to be "rewarded" with an NCAA Tournament bid. BTW, that includes the conference tourney, IE if you are 1 game below 0.500 going into the tournament, you need to win two games in your tournament to be eligible, 1-1 doesn't help your overall conference record.
SEE MARYLAND THIS YEAR.
There were 4-5 others that were right at 0.500 that made it.
