They run it easily. SDSU couldn’t score enough even with playing great def

Fun to watch the 2nd guessing now based on the last game.

Zags blew by Kansas Iowa Virginia and beat a strong WVU crew. They were battle tested and rested going in tournament.

Baylor lost to Kansas and Okie State. That conference is better top to bottom and that prepared them, but the big 12 is not the MW. Zags didn’t have enough strength and depth to support Timme in the front court plain and simple. Their 18 year old freshman got hurt and didn’t develop like they needed. Great coaching and teams began exposing that in the ncaa tournament and finally found a way to take them down. Exhibit A - UCLA. Exhibit B. Baylor who was a more talented squad and took Timme out while high pressuring our guards who had nobody to get the ball to. Great planning and very talented.

Yeah 31-1 is great and losing in the finals in the spotlight ain’t fun but it was the finals. Who else played? Oh yeah it was Baylor the national champs.

Would you take 31-1 as a great year for the Rams?
