Huh? He has a history with opiates. & driving. Pic of him day prior is bad.
I mean, he's getting over back surgery and we know he absolutely loves the pain meds. Hello, this isn't an isolated incident or with bad road conditions. The guy went straight off the road, over curbs, through a median, into two oncoming lanes of traffic, and off down the side of a road, pushing 90. No breaking.
The pic of him on the broadcast that weekend is hilarious. Eyes half-mast and glossy. Pill popping.
It's very common to nod off on opiates. I actually know right where he crashed, grew up there. There's just no way he did what he did, sober. It makes ZERO sense.
I have no dog in this fight, I just find it incredible the way it was handled. Star treatment for a legend who grew up nearby, no question. It's sad, really, what money and fame can do.
Incredibly irresponsible, reckless and dangerous. And they let him slide from the very beginning once they knew who it was, no problem. While his fan base defends him like they all went to Johnny Cochran U. Pathetic.
