The game is on at all because it’s a P5 matchup so CBS is showing it. The SEC doesn’t control or care about the game time for this game. CBS sports and the MWC control it. It’s not a game that matters between two teams that have no national and very limited regional interest. It’s just how it works out. I’d be happy it’s broadcast. Honestly CU goes through these same stupid conspiracy theories. Win and you matter and get games (also have some fans show up so it doesn’t embarrass the network to show empty stadiums constantly) at better times on better networks.
