Yeah...Iowa has a tendency to play to the level of their competition.

I watch them a lot and constantly get baffled by how poorly they play against lower-level competition while often playing tough against their better opponents. It can be maddeningnot that I think CSU is a huge threat to upset them but it might be close through 2 or 3 quarters before they pull away. I think the author might be a little overconfident in Iowa's passing game...their QB is not great - he can look good in 2-minute drill situations where he doesn't have to think or run through progressions. Otherwise he can be pretty inaccurate, and they lost a couple of their starting WR (Brandon Smith and Ihmir Smith-Marsette). Ragaini and their TE's will probably see a lot of passes thrown their way. But ultimately I think Ferentz will want to just pound in on the ground as much as possible, keep the playbook simple for that game and wear down our defense. On offense...eesh...I don't see us being able to run very effectively against them. If we're going to score at all I think McBride will need 10+ catches and our D will need to generate a turnover or two to give us a short field.
