How does that help the other teams in the SEC???

In this link, you'll see that Texas leads in total revenue (for their school) but they also place 2nd in total expenses. Their net income is well below that of A&M. But, any revenue Texas brings in, doesn't go to the SEC. They have to be able to persuade the TV networks to pay more for the SEC content now that they are in it - to the tune of $90MM+ more.

Each SEC member (including the league offices) makes about $45MM/yr right now. To divide the pie 2 more ways, you need to add $90MM/yr to keep things as they are. I don't see the SEC adding Texas and OU without additional $, so I assume $90MM more is quite low. Cable companies that carry SEC games outside the SEC footprint pay $.40/mo per subscriber to the SEC. For subscribers within the SEC footprint, they pay $1.40/mo per subscriber - that's $1/mo more per subscriber. But, the state of Texas is already in the SEC footprint, so adding the sips doesn't affect the math. Adding Oklahoma brings in another 5MM TVs, or an additional $5MM. Where does the other $85MM come from? How does adding Texas and Oklahoma add $90MM/yr to the conference?
