This was a super aggresive virus

That spread to every country in the world in just a couple of months.

Infected hundreds of millions of not billions. No it didn't kill most. But it killed a lot.

Ebola is much more deadly which actually to its own detriment. People die so quickly it doesn't have a chance to spread wide.

There will be a virus someday that's both fast spreading and more lethal.
But it's stupid to argue that Florida did the right thing. Yes, with hindsight you can say that this virus somehow didn't impact kids. But nobody knew that when it started. Most viruses harm kids.

Isn't it better to err on the side of caution? It devistated seniors - especially those in close confinement. If thousands of kids died in Florida, would you still be saying the did the right thing?
