And yet, none of the suppliers I work with can fill their openings. Each

one has stated in one form or another that their challenge is: why would people want to come work when they are getting paid to not work? So yes, wage growth may happen as a result of businesses having to compete with the gov't as opposed to paying what the market will actually bear. The expiration of the extra unemployment benefits can't come soon enough, IMO.
