Honestly, don't know which states are still giving the benefits. I imagine

it is probably a combination of both the benefits and labor shortages so yes, adding more to the labor pool would help fill jobs and keep wages from spiraling to be grossly uncompetitive in the global marketplace. And regardless of what issue is on the table I think we all know that the answer is no, Congress is unlikely to get their crap together
