Fine? No….


But it was the prudent thing to do pre-vax when we didn’t yet know how C19 would effect kids. Without a vax, letting kids go to school last spring would’ve multiplied the spread, and led to thousands more deaths (mostly adult). This year, now that we have a vax, kids should be in school, albeit with precautions like masks in high transmission and low vax areas. Sorry if that position is a little to nuanced to fit your blanket preconception. Now, back to the original question…why is it dumb to wear a mask in a gym?
