This whole thing is headed to a 32 team Premier League


I think the bottom feeders of the remaining P4 conferences will not make the cut. The conferences as we know them will eventually evaporate. The power teams will continue to try to chase more $$$ over time. Why does Ohio St or Alabama want to subsidize the likes of Illinois or Vanderbilt? ESPN is driving the bus and they need to generate more and more higher rated games since viewership has been steadily dropping over the last decade. As for CU, they will (sadly for me) be left out of the party. USC, Oregon, UCLA and Washington are the most likely teams to come out of the far west.
