Yep. Despite a lot Big10 schools being in the middle of nowhere
for the most part they are located in big college towns. Illinois is located in the center of Illinois, in farm land, but on game day in Urbana-Champaign you know that a game is happening. It's what a lot of folks here experienced at Iowa. It's completely different from SMU/Dallas. Hopefully Durward is trying to be humorous. Tulsa has about 4000 students - most of those from Oklahoma are probably Sooner fans.
