Very true. What's worse is that as a charter member, we've allowed

later additions to the conference to impact the quality of the conference. The original MWC would not have let some of these additions renege on their agreements to improve facilities and funding when they were added. San Jose State was supposed to have upgraded their stadium years ago. Hawaii doesn't have a stadium and has no timeline for building one. Boise still hasn't broken ground on their improvements, and so on. However, a voting block now exists where this acceptance of mediocrity is tolerated and protected. I hate the idea of moving to the AAC, but I can't deny that the MWC refuses to do what's necessary to fund a conference that can stand as the defacto #6. The MWC has treated its membership like CSU treated Sonny. Just milk them for what they have and not fund improvement. CSU, Wyo, UNM, and SDSU have stepped up and combed their hair. Most of the rest have skipped the showers, and since we didn't force hygiene, it appears we're now about to leave what could have been a great thing.
