Any EEs/electricians wanna help me find a diode for my microwave?
We have a POS GE Profile microwave that is 2-years-old. It stopped heating over the weekend. We took it apart last night, and discharged the capacitor without killing anybody. The diode is blown. It's stamped as a CL04-12 RG812. I don't know what the rating or any of the specs on the thing are. Amazon has similar diodes, but I don't wanna buy them, put them in, and have them burn up immediately because they can't handle the load. Thinking about dropping by Grainger on the way to the Fort tomorrow to see if they can help me.
