I heard the exact opposite

First he mentioned running a 13 set because his TEs are the best pass catchers on the team. And the deepest part of the roster.

He mentioned that there is a lot they can do out of that set that they have YET to install.

They are boring because of that fact and he wants perfect execution before the route trees open up for more dynamic and big plays

He is talking the walk before you run mentality and it's working. Despite what is written here on game days we had almost 500 yards of offense so play calling is not an issue...execution, penalties, and consistent OL play is the issue. Also we have played really good fronts. SJSU and NM and Iowa and SDSU have all conference talent on those lines.

He is aware of the issue and not happy but then again good coaches understand underlying reasons and how to improve. I love the offense progression but we need our OL to settle in first
