Edit - QB Cole LaCrue offered by Central Michigan today... He is one of the top 6 that I would have said are D1 material... that is 2 of 6 that I personally think are D1 capable that have D1 offers. I am shocked he was offered...

we have had some excellent sized linemen come out of the state. Most go out of state... but there is a reason that our D2 schools have been competitive and that is because a lot of the lineman that are overlooked by D1 are getting picked up at CSUP, Western, Mines, etc... It is the skilled positions that are getting overlooked...

Take BeBe Hills out of Vista Ridge.... kid is one of the fastest in the State, holds the second longest long jump this season in the USA... Kid is undersized like you stated... but so is Dante Wright. He would be worth offering a schollie just for his kick return threat... not a single offer. If he were in Texas people would be all over him... but he is in Colorado and plays 4A.

In the 2023 class just at QB there are 5... maybe 6 kids that I would say are D1 material... one is a 4* and has committed to Arizona.. the remaining probably will not get a D1 FBS offer but may get an FCS offer... my guess is all will get a D2 offer. But they play in Colorado and they do not get the exposure that they would get in another state. But if 1 of them does get an offer out of state... then you would probably see one of the Colorado schools offer.

Here is how things have worked in Colorado.... really surprised we offered Faavae at LB today out of Fountain Fort Carson.... but that offer should have happened months ago... should have happened under previous admin. He has already gotten offers from other schools over the last 4 weeks. But this is how it is for Colorado kids... they get offered by someone out of state then the in state schools offer them. CU is just as guilty at over looking kids as Colorado State has been... another reason why Wyoming has sucked up some of those kids that have hurt us over the years.

Just how it is... hoping Norvell and staff can get on kids before other schools offer them. That is the way it should work.
