It was a one-day, made for TV scheduling thing that paired mid-majors.

Of the conferences involved, like the WAC and Valley, they all played, but there were higher level matchups that were intended to boost resumes. I don't think that ever really happened, the resume boosting that is, because if you are a mid or low major playing a similar team isn't boosting crap. The MW was not involved in that.

I feel like most everyone else here, the MW shouldn't participate. Unless teams in good position are guaranteed to face other teams in good position, like Quad 1 or 2 games for sure, it doesn't do any good. If the MW stays strong, they'll get those games in conference any way.

If you could get a handful of matchups with power teams maybe that would be different.
