Earlington (with Roddy) would be a tremendous pick-up.

Of course, a couple of hopeful "ifs" at that point from my perspective. Earlington can stroke it from downtown though he has the skills to go inside. Another one of those players, like Roddy, who is a match-up challenge b/c of his strength. If Roddy comes back they both would solidify more offense. Earlington is going to want and expect playing time so I don't know if there will be enough for him with our depth - trying to think of it from his perspective. I've seen short write-ups about the Raptors liking Roddy along with a few other teams.

It may be just beat writers filling space, but the David Roddy love as some legs to it. Selfishly I want him back, and if that turns out to be the best thing for David it would be great for the Rams.

An unknown player and potential bonus for us is Cartier. None of us know what his transition will look like into DI, but I've got to believe he will contribute though to what extent we'll need to wait.

Shout out to CubsClapp for posting the extended highlights on our latest addition J-buckets. I was concerned before seeing this video that Strong didn't have the propensity to drive to the rim. That's been changed. Though he is silk smooth on his jumpers (reminds me of Sherfield with his shooting) Strong will drive and dish, take it to the rim and has great vision locating bigs who slip to the basket. Moors (& Jennison?) will love this!

I remember seeing a player in the high school state tournament in Oregon in the early 90's named Damon Stoudamire who was a great distributor, shooter and penetrator to the basket. While I'm not ready to call him NBA - ready for sure I am very excited for Tavi Jackson. He's got the tools and speed that we will be pleasing to Ram fans.

Our current players are still developing and these new additions tend to take my focus on who we have and how they will improve next year. We know our weaknesses from last year and it looks like the coaches are addressing those areas by recruiting, but we have some guys already who will step up their games.

These new players have improved our roster and a few more could make us round of 32 or sweet 16 ready. IF, DR returns. If not, we'll still be formidable, but we'll have to form a new identity with Isaiah leading the way.
