On a serious note, Fred Ward was a criminally underrated character actor
Who's work went largely unappreciated. He's one of the standouts in one of my favorite movies, "The Right Stuff" as the unjustly maligned Gus Grissom. Actually got to see Grissom's capsule at the Denver Museum when they fished it out of the ocean. He was an actor whose presence elevated the material. There seem to be fewer and fewer of those kind of actors around these days. RIP Fred.
