The wind is not a lot worse than Northern CO. The air is clean. The
people treat people like people. It's a great place IMO.
Wind? When I was younger I moved to Bellingham, WA for almost a year. I was just tired of the wind and the whole Northwest life was calling. In that (almost) year, I saw the sun once. One of the most beautiful places in the world on that one day a year when the sun shined. I opted for the wind and got the hell out of there. Different strokes for different folks. I wouldn't put down Laramie, or Detroit, or Seattle. Wherever it is, the folks that live there are good with it. Far be it from me to tell them that they'd be happier somewhere else.
