It's not an apples to apples comparison as stated


It's not like Nevada didn't play football before that. They did. They just played at a lower level.

Then when they moved up to D-IA or FBS or whatever you want to call it they played in lower level conferences for years.

How would CSU have done if they played in those conferences? Maybe pretty well. How would Nevada have done in the 90s WAC or 2000s MWC? Probably not as well.

The argument that CSU has been bad forever, sure, the history isn't great. But you can't compare it to Nevada's history, which frankly hasn't been on the same level.

Compare it to Wyoming or Air Force and say CSU has overall sucked, more reasonable, but again, not apples to apples when comparing to Nevada.
